  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cooked rice for serving
  • Sliced green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef: Place the sliced flank steak in the slow cooker.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. Slow Cook: Pour the sauce over the beef in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
  4. Serve: Serve the beef over cooked rice, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
