- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 medium potatoes, diced into cubes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the Potatoes: In a mixing bowl, toss diced potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast the Potatoes: Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
- Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the steak bites and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Combine and Serve: Once the potatoes are done roasting, remove them from the oven. Serve the garlic steak bites over the crispy potatoes, garnished with chopped parsley.
