Chicken Breasts: 

4 boneless, skinless breasts (can double or halve the recipe as needed).

Olive Oil: 

1 tbsp (or avocado oil as an alternative).

Chicken Broth: 1/2 cup.

Seasoning Mix:

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

    1. Lay the chicken breasts flat at the bottom of your slow cooker.

    1. Brush the tops of the chicken with olive oil to help the seasonings stick.

Step 2: Add the Broth and Seasonings

    1. Pour ½ cup of chicken broth around (not over) the chicken to keep it moist while cooking.

    1. In a small bowl, combine Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and paprika.

    1. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.

Step 3: Cook the Chicken

    1. Cover the slow cooker with its lid and cook:
        • On Low: 4–6 hours

        • On High: 2–3 hours
          (For shreddable chicken, extend cooking time to 6–8 hours on low or 3–4 hours on high.)

    1. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Step 4: Serve and Enjoy

    1. Once done, transfer the chicken to a serving plate. The chicken will look oven-baked, but it’s all thanks to the slow cooker!

    1. Slice or shred the chicken as needed.
