Chicken Breasts:
4 boneless, skinless breasts (can double or halve the recipe as needed).
Olive Oil:
1 tbsp (or avocado oil as an alternative).
Chicken Broth: 1/2 cup.
Seasoning Mix:
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

- Lay the chicken breasts flat at the bottom of your slow cooker.

- Brush the tops of the chicken with olive oil to help the seasonings stick.
Step 2: Add the Broth and Seasonings

- Pour ½ cup of chicken broth around (not over) the chicken to keep it moist while cooking.

- In a small bowl, combine Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and paprika.

- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
Step 3: Cook the Chicken

- Cover the slow cooker with its lid and cook:

- On Low: 4–6 hours

- On High: 2–3 hours
(For shreddable chicken, extend cooking time to 6–8 hours on low or 3–4 hours on high.)

- Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy

- Once done, transfer the chicken to a serving plate. The chicken will look oven-baked, but it’s all thanks to the slow cooker!
