Air Fryer: The Easiest, Juiciest Chicken Breast Recipe You’ll Ever Make

  • Author: Justin
  • Total Time: 20 Minutes
  • Yield: Serves 2 (2 chicken breasts) 1x

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken breasts:

Two medium-sized (175-200 g or 7 oz each).

Seasoning mix:

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp light brown sugar

Oil:

1 tbsp for coating.

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

Place one chicken breast on a large piece of parchment paper. Fold the paper over the chicken, and gently pound it with a rolling pin to even out the thickness. Repeat with the second chicken breast.

If the chicken breasts are overly large, consider trimming them to ensure quicker, even cooking.

Step 2: Make the Seasoning Mix

In a small bowl, combine:

Salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and light brown sugar. Mix until well blended.

Step 3: Season the Chicken

Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts. Press lightly to ensure the spices adhere.

Drizzle the oil over the chicken, making sure both sides are fully coated.

Step 4: Cook in the Air Fryer

Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F).

Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, ensuring there’s space for air circulation.

Cook for 11–12 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through. The internal temperature should reach 75°C (167°F) when done.

Step 5: Rest & Serve

Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest on a cutting board for 1–2 minutes.

Slice and serve as desired!
